Add a five dollar bottle of wine to really impress the ladies and still have plenty of cash for the reflash.

You just need to get your priorities straight.

My pure guess would be all of them. Our cars are like computers with wheels. We regulary update our home computers with updated software, security enhancments and repairs to the operating systems where bugs were found and corrected. Why should our cars be any different? I would discuss these with a competent tech at the dealer and have them call the GM Tech Center to inquire about them in regards to your car.

One would think it could be done through OnStar if they really wanted to keep them up to date.

Default If you have VERY early software....

I am way out of warranty and this is not a recall, so comments?
If you have VERY early software....Then a re-flash will help with the battery drain issue.

Of course, there could be several other reasons for it....

In 2005 I believe there are at least 6 different versions of the software for your 2005

Corvette. It was a first year for the car and there were issues to be remedied.

Check to see if your reverse lights work cause if they don't the battery will die when you park it....

I can also do the software for you as well...
