2012 Grand Sport 2 tone interior
Please help me verify the interior layout of a 2012 GS with 2 tone. If i order titanium/ebony interior which parts of the seat are black and which part are titanium?
The "build your own" pictures on chevrolet.com show the exact opposite color scheme of the car in this link.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...chevrolet.html
So again my question is which parts are black, the bolsters or the part where your butt goes?
This is a big difference to me. I need every single detail for my decision.

The seat centers are titanium what color ext. paint. Well I'm wrong according to the photo maybe it has to do with if you order it ebony over titanium or titanium over ebony I think.

Rick, very much appreciated. It looks as though you have confirmed that GM has made changes. Maybe it came down to using the parts that they had left. I know that the Z06 and GS had opposite layouts on the 2 tone and maybe it's just that they had an over inventory of the z06 style.
... that might explain the seats anyway. Oddly, the pictures in your post don't match any of the combos in your link as the armrest area etc now looks to come in black when ordered 2 tone where as in the linked pictures it's titanium. I swear, this kind of stuff drives me nuts.
Lastly you have certainly made an opportunity for yourself to earn my business, PM is inbound.

The 2 Tone theme in 2011 is different than on the 2012 models. And to confuse things even more it is my understanding that the 2LT is no longer the Sport Seats and those seats may be a different color scheme than what you would get in the 3LT. If I remember correctly the 2LT's with the Heritage Package were on a long delay when the 12's were introduced because the 2LT seats were no longer the Sport Seats. I think the 1LT and the 2LT now share the same seats. I think maybe the color schemes on the 2LT and the 3LT and the 4LT may all be a tad different from each other. To say the least, I am also confused on the 2012 seat color schemes.

Forget about comparing Z06 two tone seats to Coupe/GS two tones. The layout has always been different. Traditionally on a two tone non 4LT interior the edges would be ebony, and the centers colored. 2012 is most certainly confusing. I don't know if a midyear change was made or not but if you go check on the big auction site you can find 2012 GS's with two tone red/black interiors. One has ebony edges, red centers and the other is the exact opposite. One is a 2LT, one a 3LT. Don't know if one is older and one newer, or if the pattern is flipped 2LT vs 3LT. Hopefully someone out there can give a definite answer. I would hate to order a car expecting one thing, and have it arrive differently.

Platinum Supporting Dealership
Seems to be some goofy stuff going on with seats lately. I recently received a 3LT Carlisle blue convertible and it had ebony suede seats !!!!! Ordered it with titanium heritage leather !

I took possession of a new Equinox about a month or so ago. It was ordered with Silver and Ebony 2 tone interior and it showed up with solid Ebony interior. The dealer asked me if this really made a difference to me. I said its not what I ordered. Luckily they did a dealer search and found my exact Equinox no more than 150 miles away. I like the 2 tone interior much much better.

I appreciate everyone weighing in.
Pinning down these kinds of details can be frustrating.
Chevy lists that the 3lt has sport bucket seats with power lumbar and bolsters and perforated seating surfaces.
Are those seats any different in shape or construction than what comes with 2LT other than the power and perforation?
As for the color issue, chevy certainly appears to have done a mid year switch on the combination. I don't think it relates to the trim package either.

Comparing in showroom, they look and felt the same to me, the only thing that makes them "sport" in the 3LT is I suppose is the adjustable lumbar and bolsters and perf. leather.

Seems the 2LT now includes all sorts of things that never worked that great in the first place like a Bose radio, heads-up display, and touch screen navigation. And who the heck wants yellow calipers. No wonder they are discounting the hell out of this car. Sport seats used to provide side airbags, adjustible lumbar and bolsters, six way passanger seat plus perforated leather seating surfaces, and allowed ordering of two-tone seats.

In the photo old version that is a 3LT interior. In the photo new version is that car a 2LT? The reason I ask is all the 2LT cars I have look at have the new version.

The different color calipers are a separate ordered item, I don't think it requires any specific LT trim level. Personally think flat black calipers would be best, no need to worry about brake dust!
I think still have to have 3LT to add Two Tone Seats.
Chevy brochure says the cargo shade and net are added as part of 3LT. My 2LT included them, even though they were not listed on the window sticker. However, some 2LT's did have it listed as included on the sticker.
