Well you can't see it anymore because the pics were pulled, but if you saw the front, it wasn't the angle, the tire sidewalls were bulging out, while in the rear it was flush to slightly stretched.
Maybe it was just the size selection on the front, but IMO when designing/making aftermarket wheels (especially of this price range) they should be designed around a specific tire size and made to look uniform both front and back (preferrably flushed).
They have no control over the tire sizes, but they do have control of the width of the wheel they are designing.
Just my .02 and the biggest issue I have with taking a chance on expensive aftermarket wheels, and a pet peeve of mine, I want a uniform look both front and back and for me, I think flush looks best.

Incorrect, both front and rear were perfectly flush and the widths and sizes were exactly as that of ZR1. Professional pictures will show this. Some people have to know what they are looking at before making wrong comments. Both sets of wheels utilize same fitments which HRE perfected. What one person says is flush another says sticks out and yet another says sits too far back in. Just find a set of wheels you like and if you want to design your own wheels with custom offsets and widths knock yourself out we can build it. Till then the experts have the fitments down to a Science and these wheels look incredible sitting "flush" with the fenders and correct tires used.

As to what I meant about flush, I was referring to how the sidewall of the tire sits on the rim, not the tire to the fenders, like as an example, if you put say a 275 tire on a rim made for a 285 and in the other direction a 295 on that same rim. One will look bulging out, the other will look stretched on the rim.
In either case, if that is not the case, then my bad, but from the angle on the polished rims on the red Z06, the front looks bulging and the rears looked slightly stretched. Again, just my perception from what I saw.

No harm no foul my friend. And those pictures were HORRENDOUS and wheels had no centercaps yet so had to take them off. I understand where you are coming from too so dont read me wrong.
We do the same sizes on most of our wheels and same tire sizes. If customer wants Michelin PS2ZPs correct fitment is as follows:
19x10 with 285/30/19
20x12.5 with 335/25/20
If customer wants a 20x13 rear the best fitment for that tire is the Nitto Rears 345/25/20
We dont deviate from those fitments for the C6Z's. Pictures sometimes look terrible and car needs to be lowered etc etc. We will make another thread soon as we get some nice pictures of it.
Rest assured HRE is one of the top quality wheel manufacturers in the world and is NOT going to make a fitment that looks BAD!!
THANKS FOR THE POSTS, MAKES FOR A GOOD CONVERSATION

Whatever you do, do not show pics of the 'regular' or satin finished wheels in the same line. I might not be able to resist. Fortunately you said only this set of black. Whew.
Nice wheels.
Nice wheels.
