Default Thank you for the ideas

Thank you all for the great ideas ...

Uhm, I was going to post pictures of my car and myself and ... for some reason Picasa photos won't post (?) ....

So, if anyone would care to assist me I would greatly appreciate it ...

What do ya'll think about

DULCE1 (sweet1) I want to use a Purdue University Plate and it only allows 6 characters. . .

I did look through all of the list of vanity plates... wow ... lots of great ideas and some that I still can't decipher!

AWSUM.....got that as I was passing a bunch of kids hanging out, a young lady yelled out "awesome car"...(and in your case, they'll never know if it's you or the car that's "AWSUM")!

Dulce1 would be good!

As far as posting pics, here's a couple of threads that might help:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/help...es-thread.html

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/help...tep-guide.html

If these don't work, let me know and I can walk you through it.

Good luck and welcome to the brother (or sister) - hood!

Isn't it spelled "DOLCE" as in DOLCE VITA"..SWEET LIFE??Please make sure you spell whatever you choose correctly! There's nothing worse then a misspelled vanity plate...as in one I saw at CARLISE that read "YOU LOOSE"!!! Now,my warped mind will convert that into a whole other meaning, but I do believe the guy meant "YOU LOSE"...

As for me,I like "BIG V8"!

Sometimes, especially in big metropolitan area's like ours, you can't get the correct spelling, in my case most of the variations of "awesome" were taken so I settled on "AWSUM"....

All the free advice above is wonderful, but you don't need it. A personalized plate is just that... something that is personal to or somehow reflects YOU, perhaps a nickname you got years ago, a hobby name, a descrip. of how you see yourself, color of your hair, etc. etc. Use abbreviations, be creative, Make It Your Own.

---AGREE, just jot down things that are unique to you, relevant to Purdue, your career, your likes and such. "BMAKER" or "PURDOO" or "PURRDO" ... may taken, so just do some wordplay ...

I am waiting on my tags for my triple black vert. I ordered "WRAITH." It was between that and "SHADOW."

Many years ago I saw a black Sting Ray with the SHADOW tag and it was also written in very small letters on the ridge of the hood. It looked really good and I thoght suitable to the color.

Thought. When you pick one you believe you are cofortable with, write it on a piece of cardboard. Place it on a plain background and stand back to view it. I believe it gives better look at the final results.
