DEKA ETX18L and Ctek 3300 Question
Hey guys.. I'm changing out my Delco battery for a DEKA lightweight. Can I use my Cteck Battery tender on this battery? If so, What setting? It has a Car, Motorcycle and a snow flake for options..
I've used the car option for the life of the AC Delco battery and it has NEVER given me any problems.. just want to lose a little bit of weight up front..

I have two Ctek 3300's and use them for everything 12v lead acid around here. While don't have a smaller Deka/Braille battery, think you'll be ok with either the normal or motorcycle setting, as the Ctek is only 3.3 amp max. Settles down to a similar maintain mode either way. The snowflake setting is a slightly higher voltage for outdoor winter usage, and don't think you'll be needing that. If you're really wanting to go lightweight, check out the Shorai 36 series, but get the wallet out. Couple guys here are using these with pretty good results.

why not ask the batt. maker or ctek, or both? seems to me one or both would know since it's their products.
