N00B checkin in
Ill get to the point. I was a die hard mopar fan. Had two SRT8's. no matter how much hp I threw at them they were just too heavy. Bought a 07 vette. Love it. So far just a Calloway honker intake and axle back exhaust. Lookin for a good head/cam package on long tubes. Any suggestions? And what's up from NW HOUSTON

Welcome,
I use to have an srt8 as well but like you said there just too heavy but very comfy. Many different options on head/cam package. What is your overall goal with the car? A nice daily cam would be a Torquer 110 or 116 with little loss in drive ability or something bigger like LGs G6x3. So many different options. Let others chime in with there ideas and good luck

Have you thought about going FI? For the cost of a H/C set up, you can 600+ reliable hp on your stock block, plus retain stock drivability and get upwards of 30mph on the hgwy. There are some good sales going on too.
If not, as others have stated, there are lots of options. If you don't mind driving, DP will certainly hook you up.
Congrats on your new vette! Whichever route you choose, you're gonna have a blast!

Welcome aboard. Check out England Green. They got me (and many many others) fixed up right.
Here's mine:

Dyno curve after all was said and done. (Stock LS3 Autos usually put out about 350-360 hp to the ground).

Burning Brakes
Welcome to the forum, and good choice on going with a Corvette. I also came from a Mopar. I had a Daytona Charger 5.7, although the SRT8s are a superior platform I was greatly disappointed in the weight as well. I had every bolt on, heads, cam and full exhaust and the thing was a snail. I was debating building the bottom end and going with a blower but decided to go with a blower on a Vette. Even with 0 supporting mods it was going to be extremely faster. Right away after I put the blower on I was instantly satisfied and glad I went this route. I have minor mods and have already cracked 9s. My goal was just to break into the 10s.... (Coming from a Mopar my expectations/goals weren't that high lol)
