Default I'm I the only one that misses Jeff Hardy and his website?

I used to spend hours just looking at Jeff's site. In fact, I found my Corvette on his site.

Is there another website similar to Jeff's on the internet? I am having withdrawal symptoms!!

Rest in peace brother...

if you read the thread that was closed, paul said someone was looking into a follow on to jeff's site, but nothing yet. that was a few weeks ago at least. that was one, unique, gifted and giving man who left us.

It was a great service to the vette community. The man had skills. I had tried to contact his wife to to try to take over the site, but never heard back.

not to tell you your biz, but many good reasons could have resulted in no response. maybe it's time to try again and leave an email, twitter, telephone number, etc. so that there's more than one way to contact you. just a suggestion.

I completely understand that, I did try twice, and did leave contact information. I was trying to work on recreating the site on my own webserver but I just can't figure out the queries he is using against the GM database. He's done such a fantastic job, it would easily take me a day or two to update his to include the new years and options.

Adam Boca was working with the Hardy family in taking over the site for the NCM. I don't know how he made out.

My guess is GM would rather have you go the dealer who can make similar searches using tools available to them. It's one more opportunity for them to get you in the door.

I'm in the crowd that really misses the Jeff Hardy site. May he rest in peace.

If GM offered this than the local dealer near you would be screaming that a dealer outside of his franchise territory is selling cars. Here is an example of this. Kerbeck's bring cars to Corvettes@Carlisle every year. About 7 years ago all of the Harrisburg PA area Chevrolet dealers started complaining to their GM rep about Kerbeck selling cars in their territory. GM stopped them from selling there. Now Kerbecks only display cars at Carlisle. If you want to buy it you must go to their showroom on Monday when they open.

I reached out to his wife about the National Corvette Museum taking over the site, and didn't hear back. It would be a great resource to continue and with our involvement with GM we could have made it work with current production information. I will attempt to email her again.

Any attempt would be greatly appreciated by the Corvette nation.

I did appreciate his website, it is how I found my conv. I bought new, I had the dealer in Missouri do a dealer trade to get it. I appreciate what he did, hopefully someone will follow up!
