Default Pic request: Glass top vs targa top

I have a victory red targa. My vette has the stock 5 spokes powdercoated black. I am thinking of getting the glass top and tinting it. I want pics of a victory red with a glass top vs the red targa top.
Thanks

Have you considered black wrap on the top you already have?

Lol go read my other post. Just to sum it up for you I bought the car two days ago and last night I rode around all day w the targa off. Got home set all the personal settings (seats, mirrors, hud, radio stations, etc) went inside ate dinner left to go to the gym and forgot to latch targa down and it blew off going 50 mph. luckily it didnt break or anything and still works just needs to get fixed. Thought ab the glass tops since I have black wheels. IDk just a thought lol I do love my red top and wouldnt mind having both honestly lol.

Could be an option and I only got the glass top and use a top liner in the summer

If possible, I'd recommend having both tops.
I use my solid top during the hot Houston summers, car stays much cooler.
During the winter it's the glass top. I bought my glass from Gene, they are almost a one way glass, black on the outside. You can't see in but you can see out.

The glass is just too hot in the summer, just my opinion.

This is one a local dealer near me has on the floor. It's Torch Red, but at least give you idea with clear top, which really looks almost black on the car. I really like the black headlamps. I think would look nice with your black wheels. Having the halo black would look great too. I think someone else out here did that recently, and posted pics. Try searching.

Thanks for the pictures man I appreciate it a lot. I probably should have googled it first. But with that being said I like the clear top on the VR. I am not a fan of the halo for some reason I dont know why but I think it takes away from the lines/look of the vette, but the clear top looking almost black will look great with my wheels. Thanks!

There are at least a dozen members that thought the same thing about the halo and got it painted black to match the glass top. Many got the windows tinted as well to give the full black appearance for the upper portion of he car.

I bought a glass top for my JSB about a year after I got it. I haven't put the body colored top back on since. Makes the exterior look better and since it is transparent it makes the interior seem roomier with it on.

I'd love to have a glass top on mine except for the fact that it will crack/break within a year or so. And I can't see spending $1200.00 on something that I know won't last.......

Make it a habit to check parts for sale each time you look at forum, wont be long you will find one within a couple hours driving for half that price

Not sure why it would crack or break though
