I've used it.

Plus: It's very easy and looks decent on light cars (white, silver, yellow)

Con: It has no depth. Horrible for Reds, Blues, Blacks, Dark Grey

…and it makes your car a dust magnet.

But it does work very well on unpainted plastic. I used it on my Avalanche exclusively because of all the plastic on that truck.

Another downside to “ICE” is it doesn’t last very long on the vehicle.

I still use it to dress the tires on my Vette.

I like Meguiars NXT 2.0 Tech wax

What do you use on your car as your sealant?

I'm also partial to Meguiars NXT 2.0 Tech Wax. A local newspaper had published a small article about Ice as a good wax.

After I wash my VY vette, I pull it inside the garage and then use a leaf blower to blow some of the water off. Then walk around the car spraying the Turtle Wax Ice liberally. Then use a nice microfiber drying towel to dry

Turtle Wax has their "Black Box" for blacks. I picked up a box but haven't tried it yet.

I like the ICE brand a lot too. Have all of the products. So what would bring out more depth in a red car? Just interested.

I tried the black box but didn't notice a huge improvement at all. Also it takes forever to do the entire kit after you clean the car off. Expect an entire days worth of work. I just used some Meguiars Wax after using a clay bar and got a great shine.

I used it all the time on my C5 Spiral Grey Metallic looks good to me, now using it on my 2012 Grand Sport.

Hmmm... Thanks. I'm happy with the "Black Detailer" but I think I might pass on the "Black Box" then.

Ever since i was a kid and learned not to put silicone on the seat of my dirt bike and stay away from anything made by turtle wax.

OK ... the Turtle Wax line may be good products, but they have been around forever. I tend to consider their line as fine for "regular" cars and trucks, but I doubt you would find ANY of their products at a professional detailer's shop.

I have also been using NXT 2.0 Tech Wax. Not sure its the best on Silver Metallic ... but it does wear well. I just did a coat this morning .

I use the Meguairs NXT 2.0 Wax a couple of three times a year.

For a spray wax I used to use Meguairs but after trying the TurtleWax Ice, its much better for my application, when the car is still wet
after every wash....

I put it on my tires last week and they still look like it was put on yesterday,,seems like this product is one of the longer lasting tire treatments on the market.

It looks great on my Jet Stream Blue car. Easy on and off with a great shine. I do the whole car windows, weather strip, black plastic everything. Car looks fantastic when I am finished. Not many car finishes can be applied to the black exterior plastic and weather strip without leaving a white residue all over int. Ice just makes the black shine like crazy.

I used to use the NXT but it was too much work compared to ICE and didn't shine any better or last any longer. ICE goes on as easily as a Quik Detailer and lasts longer.
