Bash Photos: Night Race Blue Sparkling in the Sun
We're at the NCM Bash this weekend and just saw the brand new Night Race Blue on a 2013 427 Convertible Edition. I can't believe how good this color looks in the sun. I took a bunch of photos which you can here:

We can also show the contrast with Supersonic Blue as well:

What's the deal with the flat black striping on the hood? Don't see it on the SSB sitting next to the new blue. Haven't seen that before in the GM announcements.

I know its a photo and not in person. But it does nothing for me.
Dont know why they stopped making Lemans Blue. Still think its the best OEM colour ever offered on a C6.

Oh look, they found a way sell all the leftover SSB cars.

MEH ... Hard to tell from a photo, but it is still no where near the great Porche Midnight-Blue metallic, which is hard to tell from black. And is it just me or are those metallic chips just a tad large? Who picks and names these paints (or tries to)? Night Race looks more like Night-wRong. Obviously not impressed.

looks good
with gm's current trend for the blues getting lighter and lighter i was afraid the next blue shade was either going to white or clear

From the pics it appears to be a 'blue' version of the 'carbon flash black' used on the Centennial models. I'm personally not a fan of the large metallic flake colors. We have two Crystal Red metallic Caddys (CTS & SRX) and that type of metallic chip would look better in the blue than what they've done, IMO. I agree with previous posts that the LeMans blue or Porsche Midnight Blue would have been better choices. I guess sales numbers will tell what the buyers think...

Have to see it in person ,but the flake in that paint seems too pronounced.I was hoping it would have been closer the the new blue on the impala. I saw that car at the NY auto show was impressed.
