Default Velocity yellow Vette, CDC black spoiler, installed last night

Hey everyone, I thought I'd share some pictures of my CDC spoiler install. The two-tone setup won't appeal to everyone, but I really like it!

I mainly wanted to post these pictures for future potential CDC spoiler customers that wanted to see a two-tone setup. I had a REALLY hard time finding pictures!

Big thanks to EX1 (forum member, bought it from him used) for the good deal and quick shipping.

Looks good and really fits in with the wheels, halo and roof. You made a good choice in both style and color.

Thanks! This summer I'll be installing a front splitter and side skirts, also in black. I can't wait, but my wallet can...

I like that look. Do you have a link for the vendor. Could not find "EX1".

Also, is it available in CF?
Thanks

Oh sorry I should have specified. EX1 is a member here on the forums, and I bought the spoiler from him used. You can pick this up from several vendors, including RPI Designs, TPSMak (TPS Motorsports), or you can get it straight from CDC.

CDC doesn't make the spoiler in a true carbon fiber material (poly only as far as I know), but there are a few vendors here on the forum that can "hydrocarbon" it for you if you're only after the look. You should talk to PerformanceCorvettes, they're a vendor on the forum that does great work. You could also look into di-noc. Many members have used it successfully.

I like it a lot, now all you need is the black headlights... How much did it set you back?

Thanks!

Turn heads? Yeah, mine more than most! I just can't help it.

1. Park car.
2. Get out of car.
3. Close door.
4. Walk away.
5. Subtly turn around and "verify" that the car is still there...

Gotta do the double-take!

If you buy the spoiler new, it runs a touch over $400 unpainted. I got lucky and bought it used for $375 shipped and was already painted. Gotta love the classifieds section of this forum!

I would REALLY like some black headlights and will pick them up eventually, but it'll have to be another good find on the classifieds section, because those things are EXPENSIVE, and I'm definitely not sticking my headlights in the oven. Those that do that are MUCH braver than I am.

Very cool.

Another vote here for black headlight buckets to round out the look.
