What is the best convertible top cleaner/protectant?
It's time to clean and protect my 2008 vert. I've read about Raggtopp and Aerospace 303 products with conflicting reviews on both products. Does anyone with a vert use either of these products or is there a better one out there I should purchase?

What they said. Make sure you get both the cleaner and the protector. Use a boars hair or horse hair brush on the top... (It is Haartz Stayfast Canvas right)? Important: when you spray the protector on the top make sure you cover where the paint and glass is. So bring painters tape and news paper. Like the other guys said. The water will just bead up and roll off. It looks pretty cool too when it does that i think. Ive been using this stuff for years on my Camaro.
P.S. Make sure you get the kit for the canvas top also. They make one for vinyl tops as well.

RaggTopp cleaner and protectant.
After you've used the cleaner, make sure the top is completely dry.
When you apply the protectant, partially lower the top. release the front and raise the top a little off the tonneau and then cover the body and windshield/etc with plastic sheeting.
Close the top, don't latch it and mask the rear window if you want. It's easier to get the protectant off the glass than it is the paint.
None of this is absolutely necessary, but it will save a considerable amount of clean-up time.

I used the 303 fabric convertible top cleaner and protectant. Both 303 and ragtop products are reviewed favorably. I really like their other product, the 303 aerospace protectant, in my interior/dash.
I am very satisfied with the result with 303. But, i don't take my car out in the rain much, so maybe my review is not too credible.
i will say that i had no problems cleaning up the overspray on the windows and body. i have a few pieces of cardboard that i held in place to minimize the amount of overspray, but it was very easy to clean off the glass and body with a wet rag and little bit of window cleaner.

Excellent advice, I used the convertible kit from 303. I Highly recommend it.

I use it twice a year, mid summer and before I put the Corvette away for the winter. Works as stated earlier, very easy to apply.

I just bought a 11 GS convertible, 6 weeks ago due to the weather have not driven it much just, washed it for the first time, didn't do the top yet. I bought Chemical Guys convertible cleaner and protectant. Once I have a chance I will do the top and let you know my thoughts

I have used Rag Top and as others have said it is great and does what it is supposed to do. Recently I decided it was time to do it again and picked up some Chemical Guys cleaner and treatment at the local Advance Auto parts store and it worked great as well and was quite a bit cheaper. The water rolls off just like Rag Top. It has only been a month though so I can't compare how long the treatment holds up.
