Default 2012 steering wheel spoke removal and Apsis carbon pieces installed

I changed out my steering wheel spokes on my 2012 GS and absolutely love the new look. I have to say that the real carbon makes all the difference. I got so many compliments at this past weekends show in LBI NJ. Even the cougars loved the look I had done some of the other pieces a couple weeks ago. All carbon pieces were done by Jersey at Apsis. Turn around time was quick and Jersey answered all my questions quickly and honestly. I am very satisfied with the quality of the carbon fiber. Enjoy the pics. Sorry they are not the best. Every time I seem to go take some pics it's dark and cloudy out.

Tell me what you think:

Here's my 07's interior with the hydro carbon.

And my new 12's interior. So classy looking IMO.

Spoke installation how to.

The installation was a breeze. In the past years 06-11 you have to remove your battery and pop off the airbag to remove the two screws that hold the spokes in. The 2012 wheel has 2 spokes and a extra 3rd trim piece at the bottom. The bottom piece actually just pops out. Just pry off gently and carefully from both sides. The 2 spokes left and right are 2 pieces. The black trim is glued on to the chrome trim surrounding the spoke. Again just pry off easily and it pops right out. The new carbon trim pieces stick right back on. I didn't need any new glue or anything. I was kinda surprised how easy it went. I actually removed the airbag thinking GM kept it all the same but was pleasantly surprised. I figured I would post this to save someone the extra steps and avoid any potential problems.

Default Can Apsis do this??????

Looks awsome bud I think i need to call this Jersey person. I'm looking for a 'D' wheel, with all three of the Carbon Trim pieces you have on your wheel, with a custom center button, wrapped in Alcantara Leather. Thinnk Apsis can pull that off?????

Well I only removed my wheel in my 07 and that was a while ago. There's plenty of how to's on here about changing your steering wheel.
