Default Owner of yellow C6, shot and killed by cops

A C6 Corvette owner was shot and killed by cops in front of his Antioch home in northern California. I live a few sub divisions up from where this occurrred. I guess he wanted suicide by cop. Following is the link. If you click on number 3 in the image box, you can see a pic of his yellow C6. Prayers to the family.

Moral of the story..... don't buy a yellow vette.

That sounds like a Pittsburg or Oakland kinda thing.

Maybe he played football and took too many shots to the head in his younger days.

Truly a sad story. I wonder why he killed himself and I hope that the officers who did what they had to do accept the fact that they only did what they had to do.

I feel bad for his family, but more importantly, thank God he didn't kill someone else when he fired his gun at the police.

Stuff happens, I am sure the fact that he owned a Vette makes it a worthwhile story.

So sad for everyone. I wonder if there isn't an alternative in these cases of some kind of fast-acting tranquilizer darts?

I live in Brentwood and I'm pretty sure I have seen his car around by the painted wheels. It's really sad that it seems he concluded that there was no other solution to his problems. Having a baby on the way is the worst part and the best reason to stay alive.

All that aside, I wish people would be more considerate when they want to end it all. There's no reason to put others in danger in the suicide by cop scenario. Heck, there's PLENTY of drugs in his immediate area that he could have ended it all in a state of euphoria and not caused possible harm to others.

Every time I see these events I just know it's another talking point for the next gun control bill in California that will solve nothing and drain more money out of the already broke state.
