Cold Air Intake System and Exhaust for (LS2) 2007
What system do you recommend?
1) Airaid
2) BBK
3) K & N
4) SLP Blackwing
5) Volant
6) Vararam (maybe no a good option based on people reviews..)
I am going to tune my vehicle in Tampa, Florida (Tampa Tuning) next month. Do you think is worth it to spend the money on the air intake and maybe chage the exhaust system to gain how many ?? HP or just keep the car 100% stock?

Normally, the tuner will have his or her opinion on the CAI they like to tune to.
What does the tuner recommend for a CAI?

Keep your OEM air filters. They're good for over 400 HP.IF THOSE OTHER big filters were as good as the hype,GM would use them.A VARARAM isn't anywhere near as horrific as some would have you believe.I've driven thru torrential rains with one on and nothing went wrong. What I will not do is drive thru 3 ft of standing water. That may give you a problem. Also,VARARAM gives you a little bump at speed where it counts.I currently have a VARARAM but I'm probably going back to stock OEM because hell,if they can run it on a ZR1 with 638 hp,who am I to question that?!As for exhaust,it's about the sound because again, the most you may get is 5hp,or 6 according to GM and NPP!I happen to like BASSANI. Remember,in order to be a COLD AIR INTAKE it needs to take in COLD AIR from outside.
All the same except BBK,a different design.

The Airaid has a much more substantial Airbridge. It is much thicker
and more sturdy. The inside is also polished...

I recommended that vararam 1st and the blackwing second.
I ran my vararam slowly thought the flooding in northern florida at the begining of the month, I expected the worst, but ran into no issues. The water was a foot high on several of the road closured. It was a driving rain at all the way, and I drive highway speeds on the highway with not issues.
