Painted the Hood Liner
I had a little time on my hands this week so I decided to try this DIY project. I started on Monday and finished on Wednesday. Took my time. Not too bad for about $8 bucks in paint with a lot paint left over. Left it hanging on the wall until it dries completely.

I was just talking about doing that. Looks great! That would be a winter project for me. What kind of paint did you use? Did you paint it by hand or with an air brush? Have more questions but I hope you will post details. Thanks, again GREAT job.

I used the instruction posted by another Forum Member at this site.
I bought all my paint supplies and paint brushes from Wal-Mart. They are in 2 oz bottles $1.75 each. I bought two bottles of red but only needed one. One 2 oz bottle will do the job. The 2 oz bottles were Folk Art brand in acrylic. I bought one each gold, white and red. The paint and brushes were located in the Arts and Craft section. I had great weather it didn’t take the paint long to dry with the temperature the way it is. I also used the blue painter tape to mask the sections off. Here is a picture with the liner installed.

Great job. I have the painting talent of a stick, that's why I have Paula do my hoodliners for me.

Had mine airbrushed by a local gal I found in Tacoma. My budget was limited, and I liked her work, so went for it. mine was her first hood liner.
