Finally! Bridgestone Potenza Run Flats For The GS
Bridgestone recently came out with a Potenza run flat tire for the Grand Sport. My 2010 GS vert's original Goodyears were down to the cord at 16,000 miles. I replaced them with Michelin run flats which lasted for 27,000 miles. I liked the Michelin far more than the Goodyears in every way. Last week I replaced the Michelins with the Bridgestone Potenza's, and the ride and performance is superior even to the Michelins. I had Potenza's on a previous Ferrari and loved them more than any tire ever, so hopefully they will give me the same satisfaction on the GS.

Just put them on my '10 GS a few weeks ago and love them. No comparison to the GY'S. Only had ( 7 ) K on the GY'S but in the rain they were horrendous. Have not had them in the rain yet but the reviews on here were very good. Plus they look great. Paid $2K for them at Town Fair Tire.

I put the Bridgestones on my Grand Sport last year. I currently have 11,500 miles on the tires. The current tread depth is 7/32+. The tires have a tread depth new of 10/32. So I am getting good wear on these tires. They are a very good tire. Smooth. More quiet than the GY. I think the GY's have better traction though and better turn in. But I am completely satisfied with the Bridgestones.

Installed my Bridgestone RE050A runflats 15 months and 7500 miles ago. Very happy with them. Paid $1567 mounted, balanced incl taxes from my local Bridgestone dealer.

Those Bridgestone runflat in GS sizes have been around quite a while as Joe stated. Glad to hear you like them as well. I will be switching to those when my second set of GY wear out. ( seconnd set was free btw)

According to Tire Rack they offer 3 different Bridgestone tires for the base C6 with one being A/S RF tire that looks like the GY GS2 tires
Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position RFT (Ultra High Performance All-Season
Tire Rack only shows one tire from Bridgestone for the GS/Z06 size.
Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position RFT (Max Performance Summer)

These tires have been out for awhile for the Z06 which has the same size tires as the GS. I'm curious how good they are compared to a similar worn Michelin PS2 ZP or the Super Sport. It really is not fair to compare a brand new tire to a worn out one. I cannot stand Goodyears but most people are replacing GY worn tire with a new tire.

Goodyears = high cost and terrible tread life.
Bridgestones = low cost and good tread life.

Even if the Bridgestones had all the bad features of the Goodyears, just being able to drive an additional 50% in miles before needing replacement would justify the lower cost of the Bridgestones.
