Default Inexpensive MOD-Painted Gauge Bezels

Pull the dash out today and painted the gauges bezel. It was pretty easy. Got the DIY off of the forum. Here are some pictures and the link. It took about an hour and a half. I wasted 30 min. trying to disconnect the wires from the two sde pods. Just take the three screws out on each side andremove the whole pod, too easy.

Yes thats 87,940 miles and she rus like a champ

From the pics it looks like the bezel around DIC is removed first (separately) and is not attached to DIC like in C5?

Did you remember to turn the odometer back to zero before reinstalling?

They have little slot that they snap into: (male-female setup) Be careful because the bezels are real thin. I had to pull them out using my fingernails. Once you get a whole of it the bezel comes right out. The trick to getting the housing out is to bring the left side out first right at the top of the steering wheel. It slides right out after that.
