Wrapped my car in White Matte
Completely it last week. Took a while because we ran out of material but could have finished in one day if we had enough. Check out the pics below. Don't mind the red headlights, I'm saving up to get black ones soon... What do you guys think?
This is what i started off with...
Now with carbon wrapped targa and halo and new wheels...
Removed all the mirrors, headlights, taillights, side markers, fogs and weather striping... time consuming..
Now we started wrapping...
And now the finished product plus a drop on stock bolts...

The shelf life of the 3M 1080 is 4 years without damage to the paint (so they say). It does come in a ton of gloss, matte, and specialty colors.
I did tint the lights with tinted clear but I did too many passes so they came out super dark. Had to sand through 4 coats of gloss and three coated of tinted clear and after that I wasn't willing to respray them again. I need to change the lenses so I'll just paint then bezels when I have them apart. Saves me a few hundred bucks.

I think you did an amazing job! and a material cost of 400 dollars is chump change.
I don't know if you've ever considered it but you should offer this as a paid service.
Really really sharp.
Best of luck
Enjoy
