Default Took delivery of my '13 GS!!! PICS!!!

Well after a long three months waiting for the car to be produced at the BG plant I finally got to take delivery last night. Truck rolled in around noon so I went after work to pick it up.

I had already taken care of all my paperwork earlier in the week so all I really had to do was show up. I told the dealership not to touch it once it came off the truck. I did not want some punk doing make ready on it. They of course agreed so when I got there I was able to pull all of the transport protection off myself. I then got to take the car back to a wash bay they had setup for me and hand washed it. I just kind of gave it a quick once over as it was getting late and I planned to do a full wash/wax on it today.

Let me just say I could not be happier. The car is amazing! It is exactly what I wanted it to be. Custom ordering was definitely the right choice for me. It looks great and after I add some of the parts I already ordered that are sitting in the garage it will look perfect. It drives like a dream! The ride quality is great. I can't believe how quiet it is but that should change once I throw on the Corsa Xtreme system I have that I got ceramic coated black. If that doesn't do the trick I will order the off-road Xpipe.

Here are a few pics from the very first time I laid eyes on it.

A couple from when I was washing it up.

My buddy came up with his C5 vert to share the moment with me.

Filling it up for the first time right after I left the dealership.

Some pics from this morning before I took it to get the windows tinted.

And finally, one of my favorites. The car gods shinning down on it!

Congratulations of a sweet looking Grand Sport. The two tone red and black interior is my favorite interior and looks great with Cyber Gray.

I have a guy at works that is chomping at the bit to buy a Cyber Gray GS with black wheels.

Enjoy your Vette.

Nice car. Hope you like it!! No offense but aren't you supposed to wait a month or so before you wax a new car? You might want to check into this.........Good luck!!

I like your archival approach to taking photos of the factory delivery plastic, etc. The red interior looks great with Cyber Grey. Good job.

I had not heard this but I will look into it. It's getting tinted right now so I have not had a chance to wash it today anyhow.

Another Cyber Gray GS. Well done! A beautiful machine. Congratulations.

I have 3 questions for you:
  1. What is your address?
  2. When are you not home?
  3. Where do you keep the fob?

Never mind. You are in Texas. You are probably packin'.
