Ramps
I'm looking for some low profile ramps to do my own oil changes. Any suggestions, and do I need four ramps, or can I get by lifting the front only. Will the the oil drain properly if only the front end is lifted?

IMO a jack and some decent jack stands are more useful and take up a lot less room to store.
With ramps you can't remove the wheels. Also,if your Vette has not been lowered and you've got a low profile oil catch pan and long arms the oil can be changed without jacking up the car.
If you have to have ramps, two for the front is all you need.

Melting Slicks
RaceRamps.
Yes, they are expensive but if you need ramps they are the way to go in my opinion. I have the 2 peice 67" ramps with extensions and rear cribs and they are nice, light and store easily between uses.

This will sound crazy but if you have the room in your garage bite the bullet and buy a 4 post lift with the bridge jack. It is the best $3,000 that you can spend on your car. Good race ramps are 3 to 5 hundred and you are still on your back on a creeper. The sooner you get the 4 poster the sooner you will realize you should have purchased one with your first car. I use mine for oil changes, cosmetic mod additions (diffuser, vents, license plate mount, mud flaps), detailing and polishing while standing up without kneeling, winter storage, and I even use it as an elevator to move heavy stuff to the loft in the garage. A bit off your original topic but it solves a myriad of concerns for your car.

These are perfect for oil changes and ship free until the end of the month. You'll be fine with just two of these. You could add some wheel cribs of you want the rear supported.
