My 2011 GS was recently put in the shop; when I purchased from dealer it came with the cool fender stripes (bought in Little Rock); my dealership/body shop in Pearland, TX can find the stripes and are wanting to try and reproduce them. Didn't the stripes come from the factory? Help, I don't want reproduction stripes.

I believe that they were factory install sometime late in 2011 until now. Prior to that, from GS inception in 2010, they were dealer installed. They should be readily available through GM parts. Most reproductions are horrible.

I got mine from Mike @ vette stipes. He can make any colors you want. He uses avery vinyl which is top notch.

He will make custom strips for way cheaper then GM stripes.

Mike's stripes are great, but they are not the same as the GM originals. The GM stripes are actually painted with the same paint as on the body of the car. That is why they are more expensive. I think they run about $450. If you are just looking for the "look" Mike's stripes will do the job. If you want original equipment be ready to cough up the $$$.

Call Chris at Scoggins Dickey. I got my factory silver stripes from him and installed them myself. He had the best price but the factory stripes are not cheap.

I got reproduction one piece just like oem for $120 shipped. Shop scanned pattern for local Chevy dealer so they are exact. I had mikes stripes the first go around and though are good material they are 2 piece and terrible to put on. If you want info where to order from same place pm me.
