C6 - the only generation...
Green was not offered as a factory colour. Just an observation I made today while going through my diecast Corvette collection.

Funny, I was thinking about the "green" thing yesterday while watching the NHRA Nationals and they showed the new Hard Candy Green and Purple colors on the Harley-Davidsons. Maybe a green will make it on to the C7 sometime.

I had a laugh with a guy I contacted selling his polo green C4 who was complaining about the difficulties finding a buyer when I was selling my similar dark rose (metallic purple) C4 at the same time.
The less popular colors look great, but when it gets down to brass tacks, nobody really wants to actually own the off color cars. I would be hesitant to buy one again just because of the resale issues. When the car is 15 years old and cheap, it doesn't matter too much.

I'm sure I'll get laughed out of the room, but a synergy green C6 (like from the Camaro) would have been cool as a limited run car. And actually I think a dark green with the silver stripes from the 60th anniversary car would have made for a very nice throwback look.
And actually, there was a pace car produced in green (probably two cars as they typically do). So technically, a couple C6 Z06's are green and even run on E85:

While I would never label a factory color ugly, I think Corvette Brown came pretty close. And, I predict we will see a dark green on the C7.
