Melting Slicks
makes you wonder why they decided to put them on and why they decided to take them off. Couldn't have been the same guy, ha ha. Same for the under hood light being deleted and the small plastic pull down bar on the rear hatch. Just something else I don't get!!eddie

They decided to take them off because all of us do anyway.

I think branding the car as both GM and Chevrolet was confusing. My guess is that in 2009 someone decided that Corvette was a Chevrolet brand and they stopped putting on GM chicklets. While there was a special edition on the occasion of Chevrolet's 100th anniversary, there was nothing special done for GM's 100th.

On my Black 07/A6. I took a little RED touch up paint smeared it into the GM plate, wiped it clean with a rag. The color stays in the grooves. Makes the badge stand out. Looks wicked nice.

Back in 2009-2010, being a GM product was not something to brag about...

My point being that I frequently question if I will purchase another GM product...ever.

I like my vette, but I dispise GM's busness ethyics & mentallity. I would never consider any other GM product. If Toyota or Honda made a V-8 car that looked and sounded as good as the Corvette, and was price comparable, I'd switch in a heart-beat. Just sayin', Corvettes are nice, but GM sucks.
