Default Photos - ALMS VIR 240 Not a Spoiler

Randy Wilkinson (NCVette_ 1FUNRIDE) and I spent three days at VIR watching racing and seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Here are some pics of the experience.

Nice seeing John (LJD51) Jim Leathers and meeting Kevin (RocketPower) and others. Great talking to Harlan, Doug and (after a long time) - Johnny O and Ron. Ron promised to be at Spring Mountain in November 13 when Derwin, Lisa and I return!

Enjoy the pics.

Great pictures. Thanks for posting them. I was in the corral at Sebring and I will be there again next year seeing we have no idea what things will be in 2014 once the NASCAR boys get their hand on it.

I may well get there. I used to go most every year when I lived in FL.

thanks for the pics, John. too bad I couldn't be there.

btw, I saw parts on tv, and couldn't believe the number of penalties and the length of them (30 seconds, 60 seconds, etc.). fascinating.

I watched it this afternoon also to see the things I didn't see...and Johnny O mentioned them also but pointed out that he still holds the ALMS record for a single penalty stop that lasted five minutes...

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. Must have been a great weekend, especially for Corvette guys! ALMS provides some of the best racing out there right now, particularly in the GT class. Just hope it stays that way in the future.
