Just recently purchased a pre-owned 2011 GS, the front windows are tinted and so does the rear window. Now that I'm getting older, I dont like being stopped and ticketted for having tints on the front windows. So I'm thinking of removing the tints off the front windows, I also think the rear window has tint on it as well. .

Are the back windows tinted from the factory, mine looks a bit darker than my wife's Denali so I'm thinking the prior owner probably also tinted the back window. I like a little tint on the back window so before I remove whats there I wanted to know if the back window comes tinted from the factory already.

No, the back window is not tinted at the factory. Check around the dots, it should be obvious whether there is a film there or not.

If by "front window" you mean "windshield", you risk a ticket if it's noticeably tinted.

All automotive glass has a natural factory tint and the average is 73 percent. I'm not talking about an applied film. I'm talking about the glass itself. When you get your windows tinted, the lower the percent number, the darker the tint.
