Beige Convertible Top Cleaning
I have a 2008 Vette with a beige top, and have always been bothered by the black crease marks. I just cleaned the top, and eliminated the marks using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and a small amount of a cleaner-degreaser called Ezzy Clean. Check the picture. You can still see the small creases, but the black marks are gone.

Congrats. I've used Mother's Convertible Top cleaner in the past with similar results. It's also great for cleaning headliners (you have to be extra careful).

I will have to try that on my car.

Sure. It is very simple. First I wet the area with water. Then I spray some of the Ezzy Clean on the Mr. Clean Eraser pad. I then rubbed the black streaks with the eraser pad. I was surprised at how the marks disappeared.

I would highly suggest using the Ragtopp or 303 Protectant kit for the Vettes convertible roof. Its a two-step system with a cleaner and a protectant. Otherwise when cleaning with harsh cleaners you can start to harm the fabric top which over time can degrade. You also remove any protectant properties which means the top gets dirty quicker and doesn't sheet off weather as well.

I bought the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser pads at Wal-Mart. Check this site for the Ezzy Clean:

I think it was the 4th item down. You might also try Greased Lightning which I believe is available in many stores. If you are hesitant to try these products on your top (I saw no negative effects on my top.), you can try the Magic Eraser by itself.
The reason I posted this cleaning solution is that I have seen many beige top owners post that they couldn't remove the black marks. I know that Ragg Top is an excellent product, but I believe that I have seen posts indicating that it won't remove the black marks. You can protect your top with the Ragg Top protectant after you clean it.

Great post! Wish I had seen it before I gave up on verts.
The creases are the reason I went to a coupe (after owning 2 verts). I used the highly touted Rag Topp with practically NO results!
Keep us dialed in on your progress with keeping away the creases...

This process removed the black marks on my beige top. The creases, although still present, are not as noticeable when the black marks are gone. I tried other cleaners with no success. My only regret is that I do not have a "before" picure. I wasn't optimistic before I began, but I was very pleased when the top dried and the marks were gone.

it has been some time.. is the ezzy and mr. clean still doing the trick with no adverse effects? At that point to getting rid on my vert for a coupe... not really but it is bothersome!!!!!

I'm glad it's working for you, but I would be leery of the Magic Eraser, it is abrasive. Tide works for me. It is a fabric detergent, after all.
