Default Stock Height

Lowered my GS last week. I've been driving around on it so that I can settle. It's now time to get it aligned and I was told by the shop to find out what settings it should be at since it was lowered. He stated that in the computer he only has the settings for a stock height corvette and that it wouldn't be aligned 100% with those settings since mine is lowered. So what I need from my CF family is the stock height of a GS. Either from the center of the wheel to the top of the fender or from the street to the fender for the front and rear, and I'll do the rest. That way I can see exactly how much mine is lowered and get the proper specs for a good alignment.

Sorry, I didn't measure mine before I had it lowered with the lowering bolts.

Thanks

Yes what you're asking for would yield entirely inaccurate results for the precision you need in an alignment. Find a speed shop and give some hard thought to using the pfadt alignment notes.

I've thought about that. But he's one of the only shops around here who aren't turning me away stating the car is "too low"

I've had my (lowered) 2010 aligned several times and I have never been asked that question.

Just because a car is lowered, I don't see how that changes how they align the wheels.

I'm not a pro at alignments, but I'll see if I can find another shop around here

Find a newer built Firestone tire garage....most are being built with in ground alignment racks. This way you can drive right on it without a ramp and having to fight with boards, etc.

The "Stock" height measurement requires a special tool and is measured from specific suspension points.

Align it to factory recomended exact specifications. No plus or minus allowances .
