Default The Corvette and the other woman.

How does your wife or GF feel about you having a Corvette? Does she support you, is she an enthusiast herself, or does she dislike the car because she feels that it is in competition with her? I know my ex wife and ex GF both were not crazy about my Corvette ownership. Both were not deprived of anything with my ownership of a Corvette but they acted like they were.

she's fine..she knows I have had performance cars since 1967... not to mention, she had a 76 vette when I met her.. in 97..she got a Firehawk... she's grown out of being a car chick now.. drives a Yukon..loves it.. and an Equinox... but knows I need my "toy" and supports it.

No problems here. Not only does she support my love of Corvettes, she is the treasurer of The Corvette Club of RI

My wife liked my vettes so much that she wanted to trade her cts-v for one for herself. She now has a 06 coupe... I get no complaints when I drive either one spirited......... All i get is a devilish smile.... I have a great wife!

Wife never liked my BMW, but loves the Vette. One thing, unlike Gretchen the Bimmer, I will not name my Vette with a woman's name. Caused jealous remarks.

At first, there was jealousy.

Then, my GF started to enjoy car shows and my passion along with me.

Now, she supports my considerations to trade in my "Baby Vette" for a C6Z and furthering that passion, together.
