To help channel the high speed air flow coming from underneath the car, diffusers redirect the high speed air flow to transition smoothly into the low pressure vacuum in the rear. This encourages a smoother flowing air flow underneath your Corvette and allows for better performance from other aerodynamic components such as aerodynamic wings. The diffuser alone also offers increased downforce and drag benefits. Coupling this functionality with the beautiful exterior appearance makes this diffuser an undeniably great external modification piece for all C6 Corvettes including Z06, ZR1 and Grand Sport.
Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Construction – Known for weight savings and durability, APR FRP rear diffusers are vacuum formed in the autoclave at high temperatures using pre-pregnated manufacturing processes. This allows for a perfectly formed finish. FRP is a combination plastic and Carbon Fiber material, which provides some of the weight saving and durability benefits of Carbon Fiber at a much more affordable price.
Factory Fit Mounting Design – Each APR Performance C6 Corvette Rear Diffuser is designed for an OEM fit.
Surface is solid shining black finish; comes finished and ready for install.
This Rear Diffuser will remove the Corvette reverse lights, but comes with the Reverse LED Lights to install over the license plate in their stead.
Fits All C6 Models (Base, Grand Sport, Z06, and ZR1) and installs quickly and easily.
