Convertible does Your deck lid and quarter panel fit together properly?
I just noticed On our 2012 convertible the deck lid top left corner does not fit flush even but is about a little less than a 1/4 inch from the top of the quarter panel. Trunk is a bear to close. Body panels are misaligned.
I read somewhere Mechanics will adjust this corner downward to avoid wind noise because there's not a mouldings along the top of the deck lid.
I'm just curious does anybody have a issue with this?

not really a problem here. as to the trunk, not sure what you mean. I can slam mine down (not usual method), or put it down so it touches and then just push it down from there. becomes "two-step" process but works for me.

yes, I'm pretty sure mine do, or I'd have noticed them. if you have a good dealer/tech, they'll know how to adjust it. (I hope)

The trunk lid on my 2010 GS had a different clearance on each side of the quarter panels and they were not even straight. When the top was down, the convertible deck lid was 1/4" higher that the surrounding panels and lower when the top was up. The car was sent back to BG for adjustment but still not right. GM and the dealer made me a fair offer on a 12.
