From what I can see they all do it. The lighter colored tops seem to show more than the black ones. I always try to put the top up after a ride to keep it tight. The lighter colored tops also show black marks in the creased areas.

One Forum Member posted pics of his Cashmere colored top showing that he managed to scrub the darkened scuff marks off.
Not sure how many times you could do this without compromising the top fabric, and no telling how long the 'fix' would last.
There have been some lengthy Threads on the topic, one included posts from the fabric manufacturer.
The problem appears to be due to the limited space avaialable to store the top and how tightly it's folded/compressed.

Maybe you can minimize them somehow but they are a part of life. But don't worry, it isn't just Corvettes. Here is a pic of my Ferrari Spider, guess what....creases!

Creases are a fact of life with convertibles. The only way to avoid them is not to put your top down. One thing that will minimize the creases is not leaving the top down too long.

Dennis does what I do: keep the top up when I park it. You can see it in the black tops, but it is far easier on tan or gray.

A suggestion? Yeah. Keep your top up!
Just kidding. I'm guessing there's not much you can do about it. I'd just make sure your top is completely dry when you put it down.

I had the creases on my C5 verts also as is the same on my C6 verts that I have had they all do this and the only ones that do not have the creases is a top that has never and I mean never put down once learn to live with them I have and I am as **** as one can get about his vette! I look at it meaning the creases in the vert top as factory stock the way the top is made to wear.

Creases are a part of life with a Convertible...ANY CONVERTIBLE. Yes, the lighter colors will show the dirt in the creases more BUT a wet Mr Clean Ereaser, lightly used, will clean those up.
I'm willing to bet that when "Torchsports" avatar put her top down....there are a few CREASES there as well.

Leave the top up, when you aren't driving the car. That will lessen the creases. The creases tend to smooth out some when you drive with the top up. The creases are a small price to pay to enjoy top down driving.

When I wash my car, I make certain to wet the area where it creases above the rear quarter panels. When it dries, the fabric appears to shrink back into place pretty well losing the creases in the process.

I have them on my 3rd Gen TA Convertible, as well as on my C6 Convertible.
Seems to be a common problem, no matter which make or model of convertible you own.
