The CEL came on the other day. Is there a way to bring up code without a reader? 2009 coupe with just over 18,000 miles. Thanks

Nope, gotta have a scanner. If you want a very simple one...this is one that I got to keep in the car.

If you don't want to lay out the coin for your own scanner?
Most every auto parts store, like Auto Zone etc, will check for codes using their scanner as a service to the customer no charge.

The car also throws bad codes. Try disconnecting the battery and see if that clears it.
