Default Someone asked about an SSB over Cashmere

Someone awhile back asked about an SSB Vette with cashmere interior. Well in my search I found one (and only one). It is a nice color combination. Is it nicer than light titanium with the SSB? I personally don't think so but you'd have one of just a handful in that combination (tons of SSB over light titanium and even more SSB over ebony). I was excited when I found it. It is a base and unfortunately lacks a body colored top and dual mode performance exhaust .....both of which are non-starters for me.

yeah, beautiful, no NPP or dual top would be a show stopper for me too.
don't think I would trade my Z51 option just to have a nicer steering wheel and seats.

I for one don't like cocoa cashmere. I've got it In my new Denali HD only because it doesn't come with Titanium.

A very nice color combination for sure. If you like the car it certainly wouldn't be hard to add a colored top and dual mode exhaust. I wouldn't let that stop me.

I'm on the fence on this one. I like it better than the gray interior for sure, but that blue is just blah to me. Ever consider the NRB with cashmere? Is that even an option this year?

I like it quite well, but I agree with Z06RL above that I would NRB with the cashmere even better, and yes it is an option this year. I've seen it at Criswell.

Yes, NRB with Cashmere is an option and it is a great color combination. I think it looks classier than the light titanium (though the light titanium looks good tooo and has a less serious, fun look). But light titanium is more popular in terms of numbers.

Its funny how some of the big volume dealers make bets on these different color combinations. MacMulkin orders very few NRB with Cashmere but Kerbeck orders that almost exclusivelly. Rick Hendrick bought up a bunch of the Carlisle blues with light titanium interiors, another interesting combination.

Thanks.

But I've heard that adding dual mode performance exhaust is a big deal. Too, how do you go about obtaining a body color roof panel? Can a dealer just order you one up? Or can you order an unpainted slug and get some body shop to paint it for you? I'm curious because I have been passing on cars with transparent roof panels because, though I think the use of transparent panels are appropriate some times, I would always want a body colored roof panel as a fall back.
