Sirius Radio subscription when stored
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle the fact that Sirius wants to charge me for the 5 months that my C6 is in storage? They don't get that I don't drive the car for the winter so why should I pay for Sirius? I will be glad to renew in the spring. I have found them very difficult to deal with. HELP!!

I really doubt that they'll ever agree to a deal like that. I have a XM boom box that I only use in the summer by the pool and I wouldn't expect them to do a seasonal deal.

I buy the 6 month package for $25 every spring. When it expires in the fall, I leave it dropped until next spring.
They really need to offer an 8 month package, for say $35 ish.

I have a year to year agreement and in Nov. or Dec. depending on the weather I tell them to freeze the subscription for 4 or 5 months (5 is the max) which they do. In the spring I get a bill for the new year. I call the to negotiate the new contract and when I do they take 4 or 5 months off the new contract. May seem like a bit of a hassle but in the end I always get a better deal.

I swapped my XM tuner for a Sirius model and have no trouble pausing my service for up to 5 months in the winter.
Clock re-starts in the spring on my annual contract.
Took 10 minutes on the phone.
