Default [Pic Thread] Winter Driving Temp and Goodyear Gen2's

I still have my stock OEM Goodyears and this is the temp that greeted me this morning on my way to work. For those still running OEM spec, how long does it take for you guys tires to warm up under normal cruising speed ?

Outside Temp:

At that temp on OEM GY's, I don't think there is any amount of time that makes me feel comfortable that my tires are warmed up under normal cruising speed. Anything under 45 degrees outside and I drive with extreme caution when it comes to turns, braking and accelerating.

With my GEN2's, I would watch the tire temps, and when they increased 2 - 3 psi from my cold starting tire pressure, I "usually" had decent traction in any temp, from the 20's on up.

I now have Bridgestones, and they are much better at 0 psi tire pressure increase, and at 2 psi, they grip very well.

Today the temp was 11 and the car felt like it was on ice skates the tires were rock hard. I drove slowly and didn't have a problem.
