Default Grand Sport tires

Any new offerings for the rear tires other than the Goodyear F1's, Bridgstone Potenza or Michelin Pilot sport PS2. Mine are bald and need replaced. I would like to try a non-run flat but do not like the test results of the Nito Invo.
I auto cross once a month and want a performance tire but also want a good ride for the other 29 days of each month on the highways.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport is widely regarded as the best thing you can put on your Corvette for street driving.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport is the best tire going at the moment for Max performance summer tire. They're pretty good in the rain too. Very good wear rating of 300 as well.

When my General Exclaims go this is the tire I will upgrade to as I do not care for the Invos.

I agree about the Michelin. But the Bridgestones are a better value and will last longer.

So are Generals also available or did you just not notice the thread title?

Generals are no longer made and I will have to get new tires one day and will not get the Nitto's.

I don't know that they are "new", but you may be able to buy the Pirelli PZero Corsa which is or was made in 325/30ZR19. Michelin also makes a non-PS2 non-runflat version of the Pilot Sport. I think Continental also makes a non-runflat in that size.

I think the PSS's actually have a little higher wear rating. The Bridgestone's are less expensive though for sure.

I think Peter was saying that when his General's wear out he's going to get the Michelin's. He was responding to a thread I posted earlier.

The Michelin Pilot Super Sport is a non-runflat summer tire that comes in GS sizes front and rear.
