HUD image disappears when warm

There is a couple of threads regarding this problem but what is the solution? Do I have to live with the issue or is the solution a replace of the HUD unit? Have anyone of you with this problem tried with another HUD unit?

can you describe the issue. I have not heard of it. i have heard that when the sun directly enters it can skew the image.
