I've noticed in the two months I've had the vette that any time I park it in a "non protected" spot, even if it is in the back of the lot, some dicfore will play a game of "lets see how close to the vette we can park". And I had a guy open his door into my mirror and smudge it. Luckily it was just a small black mark that rubbed off completely, but I've now adopted the policy above. Our protected lot at work is now the only place I plan to park it where I can't see it; and I worry enough about that but no issues so far.

I never seemed to have this issue with other cars in the past.

Default Damn birds ...........

Nothing worse than birds that drink and fly. If it's not bird poop, they either spill their drink doing barrel rolls or, get altitude sickness and barf ...............

I'm sure it is a reference to Mitt's "secret" speach.... the media loved it as it gave them a chance to dump on him of course, but the fact of the matter is the truth hurts sometimes.

Forget that, just sell the Vette and go get a beat up 4X4 like everyone else in Prescott!

Just kidding! Happy Friday.

troller, Flame Red must have a very limited driving area based on his assessment.

I had once parked way out at home depot only to find a couple basically waiting on
me to get back to the car they were parked cross ways in front of mine, I was thinking GREAT they hit my car, but the guy was a fitness coach he wanted to photograph this hot chick with my car, I said sure so we went around to the back she stripped down to some skimpy shorts and a bikini top and he snapped away some pictures he then asked can she lay on your hood? Uuuuuuh no sorry.

You would have thought I said she was a fat cow or something.
Some people just don't have the level of respect for cars as we do owning a
Nice car.

Not vette related but in 1987 a mother and son left krogers and shoved a shopping car
into the side of my New Monte Carlo SS and laughed and drove off. 700 dollars later quarter panel was repaired. Oh and krogers paid for it.

Sorry to hear about the BS going down with your car. I have driven through Prescot several times since I moved to AZ (Anthem) last May. I spent a half day there when they had the corvette show this fall. I didn't have any thing happen to my vette but that might have been due to the fact that the entire city was filled with corvettes.

My biggest beef with the town is that you can not go two blocks without the radar detector lighting up. There are more cops and more speed cams in that tiny little town than I see in entire Phoenix vally. Makes me wonder if policeman would even bother if they saw it happen.

Enjoy your trip.

Just try to remember, their life sucks compared to yours and they will likely die alone and unhappy because of the way they have treated others.

It's a sad fact of life: *******s are everywhere (and rapidly breeding). In todays' political climate of class warfare, this kind of thing is predictible. You have a nice ride, enjoy it. Glad it was just soda. You have to be careful though about getting too mad. If you throw mud at a pig for kicking mud on you, you are the only one who gets dirty. The best revenge is living well.

Sorry to hear this man...but you can't "rationalize" as to why these people did it or who did it at this point. Citizens that act this way don't think like you and I. There is nothing that is going to come from dwelling on it other then more stress. Process it, vent, get it out, and move forward. The sooner you realize this the better off you'll be.

Bingo. No Walmart,No K-Mart unless I leave someone in the vehicle. Flame ,what you wrote above,I know the truth hurts some, is the absolute truth. Almost every day my commute takes me through "47% territory" along with the top "20%ers" as I arrive home. Guess which area I get screwed with the most. So much so I avoid the 15 mile stretch of "Envy ville" and have resorted to the roads less traveled. It was not always like this. I grew up in poverty during my childhood years but my parents taught me to respect everyone and their property. They also taught me to not envy others, rather to channel that energy into becoming the best YOU can be. The "47%+" over the last 4 years have become the self entitled and /or the "victim" of our American way of life instead of getting out and busting their azz.

They aren't all nice down here in GA. I had a similar situation as the OP. Cleaned the car up well just before it started to get real cold. Took to car out one morning, came home and noticed splatter of a very sticky, pink drink on the passenger side of it. I dont remember running something over, but it made its way on the fender, door, window, rear window, rear quarter and hatch lid. Was a pain to get off the little specks that were like sap. I was so damn frustrated. Other corvette people around here on the other hand....damn nice people!
