Nice backyard I have huh? I've been up and down many times, mostly on my bikes but when I got my vert in July I drove straight from Vasser Chevy in Napa to Mendocino and then back south on 1 over Mt Tam and home. Helluva 'test' drive eh? Have you driven 1 north of Ft Bragg to Leggett? Man, what a drive that is! Nothing but lefts and rights!

Very nice!! Beautiful car and one of the best roads to enjoy her on. I wish I had my Vette for the drive. I was just home on RnR a week ago, and did the same drive in a MBZ SL550

Very nice pics! My wife and I drove The 1 last March in a rental heap. North of Santa Cruz, this Italia pulls out with Oregon plates, I assume going home. We drafted him all the way to Half Moon Bay. You have some nice playground there.

The Coast route is beautiful for sure.
At the end of my trucking career I was fortunate to spend most of my time driving hwy 1 between Santa Cruz and San Francisco, yup right up and over Devils Slide. I would make three round trips and come back down for a load into San Jose. During the sunlight hours the drive was very pretty. Summer traffic with cars stopping and darting out can be problematic with all the ups and downs. Fog in the dark hours was horrendous driving, no fun at all, really just nuts that I think about it now.
Anyway the scenery shown by the OP was my office view for a few years and I feel special having spent that time along this route.
