Default Love the Vette but I wonder....

I want to buy a 2007 loaded coupe, asking price $33,000, a very good looking car! The car fax looks good but it doesn't tell me what I need.

I really need a GMVIS report before I pay $33,000 for a 2007 coupe.
Is $33,000 a good/fair price for near perfect 2007, 34,000 miles, tires at 50%?

Where can I get a GMVIS report VIN 1G1YY26U575126099.....?

Thanks you in advance!

hard to say
if you have it in person, no transporting fees, has everything you want and meets your needs... you and only you can answer that

i know when i looked for a super clean, non smoked it in car, it wasn't fun
settled on the 05 for the wife and it exceeded our expectations
to some we paid a lot, to others, we got a deal and a half.. great clean quality car

of course finding an LS3 car would be nicer
keep in mind, with the new version coming out, it can either increase or decrease the price

also... getting for a dealer/car sales places has its pros and cons too
but at least you have a business to go back to just incase...
the dealer we bought ours from was right on accurate and very helpful

I am in the market for a slightly older C6 and I wouldn't pay close to that for an LS2 car. If that had been, say, an 08 but everything else as you see, then maybe I would dicker a little to see if I could get the price down some. But it's all whatever you feel good paying. One other thing, make sure it has had NO engine mods. At this point warranty isn't a concern but if it was modded, you have no idea what they did, unless the seller has great records.

I think for an 07 over 30k miles, you should be aiming for 28-30 range... It may seem really low (and it also depends on the area you live in) but you have to look at what cars are SELLING for and not what dealers are asking. Also, don't be afraid to address the issue of the car having the LS2... Sometimes dealers assume the consumer is clueless to details like this (and some are) but don't let them BS you. If you are going to pay 33k for that car, they should at least put tires on it for you.

Most dealers will run that report for you free of charge.

The price is high but if it's the perfect color, trans, options, etc., then I would make a counter offer to see how bad they want to sell. You can always pay the full price. If you're flexible on color & trans, you can do better IMO.

Price is a bit high...as I wouldn't expect to get more than 28.5 for my 55k thousand mile black M6 Z51 2008 NPP exhaust and I'm not even selling it.

My cars mint...and in great shape..Just so you know if you buy a preowned car and need tires...I recommend the hankook evo12 tires from either tire rack or discount tire. I get all four for 750 delivered ...

The corvette is a great car...as its pretty much change the oil when the D.I.C says to and drive..

Really very reliable too. I don't know if your getting financing from the seller and thats why the price is so high on that 2007...still best of luck..and check out the for sale section of this site..

Really great owners for the most part and the pricing is a little better.

Good luck.

I believe it is always free of charge. Just take in the vin to any service dept. and ask for a printout. (and it's now called IVH) I'd also get an AutoCheck on it. I'd also have someone look the car over on a lift if you haven't already. Price, I can't tell you about but does sound a little high maybe. Without any other info on loaded, number of prior owners, local to you, pics in and out, etc., it's too difficult to comment.

Or you can ask one of our Forum vendors, such as dfichtner@fichtnerchevrolet.com or gculley@gmpartshouse.com.

Default Nice car though

The car looks gorgeous enough. It is being sold by a private owner and I believe he is very firm on the price ($33,500). The owner is very friendly and easy to work with. I thought it (price) was high compared to the 07s here on the forum or Auto Trader but it is a beautiful coupe. The carfax is clean. Here are the listings..........

I got my 2009 2lt, cyber grey, coupe w 10,700 mi. Perfect condish, w curb alert, new tires, and NPP for $34k. At carmax. Had to pay addtnl $800 for shipping but its was such a great deal to pass. Seriously check out carmax. They have tons of vettes there and you can just get the vin to run the IVH. Mine was perfect and still is. Bought about two mos ago. Good luck!!
Plus f55 option

The color & interior would make it worth the money in a heartbeat. Money comes & goes.

I just purchased a 2007 1LT (my preference) auto for $30,000 with 24,000 milee, a 1 owner. People will tell me I paid too much but, this is a MUCH better car than the 08 I had a couple years ago (sold w/ 27k miles). I might add, That I was looking for an LS-3 6sp. I had driven an 09 and an 11. I drove the 07 on a whim. What I learned is that Chevy's quality control is way different from car too car. Add the fact that Corvettes can get abused and I now realise what a huge difference there is from car to car.....On the opposite side, my daily driver is a VW CC. I just traded my 2010 with 55k for a 2013 and could NOT tell a difference between the two cars. I now have had this Corvette for a month and still love it. Even with the updates the 08s had, I have the only Corvette I have ever been in that is rattle free and tight as a drum.....Money well spent in my book........Good luck with your search

I could be wrong, but while it has nav, two tone seats and is probably a 3LT, I'm not sure if it's the Z51 option or the more expensive F55 Magnetic Ride, or has a second roof (dual roof option), etc. It does look to be in good condition.

I think the price is a bit high as well. I got my 2k6 Z51 coupe (color matched top), 3LT, with just 24k miles, all records, chrome gumby wheels, and the base mods installed (intake, LT headers, X-Pipe w/ cats, and full exhaust) for $29k flat from a dealer. I say you still have some wiggle room on that guys asking price.

For that price I would hold out for an LS3. A bit high for an 07.
