Lower front bumper scrapes
Any one know of something that I can put on the bottom of the front bumper to keep it from scraping. Lowered the car on stock bolts now the bumper scrapes on some roads around home. I've driven lowered cars and am careful but it still scrapes in some cases. Anyone know of something somebody sells like a protector? Don't want to scrape it up anymore than it already is. Also does anyone know the factory ride height for an 06 Z51 from ground to fender? Thanks y'all

Are you actually scraping the nose/bumper or just the "sacrificial" air-dam(s)?
The 3 air-dam pieces under the car cost less than $100 total, to replace.
Sounds like you're exerting the proper amount of caution. It's just one of those Vette "quirks" you have to get used to.

You're scraping the air damn, mine does as well after it got lowered on stock bolts. As said before it's $100 to replace it :/
Some people have cut there's shorter or taken it off completely

It's actually scraping the bottom of the bottom nose of the bumper not just the black plastic piece. I am careful but if there's something to protect the actual bumper that would be great!

My car is all the way down on bolts and I scrap the dam from time to time on driveways... And when cutting up the back roads I have hit the dam a few times... but the bumper is another 2in or so up

I know before I lowered her I went up to far on a curb but I could have swarm then that those protectors underneath took most of it. We've got some bad rail road tracks around here that I hit at about 20 and that was about 15 mph too fast lol. Live and learn I guess luckily its underneath. And thanks for the stock measurement, I need to check mine. I can def tell my fronts lowered but my back end didn't look it lowered much. I didn't buy lowering bolts though so only went down bout 1/2 inch
