Z51 has returned as the performance package on the C7.

Here are some of the Z51 package highlights:

1. Michelin Super Sport runflats: 245 35 19" fronts, 285 30 20" rears.
"The reduced footprint reduces rolling resistance, steering effort and road noise, contributing to more stable feel, more immediate steering response and greater touring comfort and efficiencies."
2. 1G performance handling.
3. Slotted 13.6" front rotors, Slotted 13.3" rear rotors.
4. 45 mm Bilstien shocks with optional Magnetic ride control.
5. Specific close ratio gearing for aggressive driving.
6. Differential and transmission cooling.
7. Aero package for hi-speed stability.
8. Dry sump.

All that means is that they probably won't have a GS model

What it means is that you do not have to pay an extra 5k to get a sport suspension package that included a wide body you did not want to pay for in first place. I am not knocking the G.S., but it's now an option again! The G.S. will probably come back or it will be the Z06.
