Yes you will need to get new fender liners. Oh and if you would be converting your c6 to a z06 you would need alot more than just body panels. You are converting your c6 to a wide body c6.

You definitely need to change out the rear fender well liners, plus some duct work and other misc parts on the rear.

On the front, there are a lot of parts needed in addition to the front bumper and front fenders for the front conversion. As far as the front fender well liners, they are glued to the frame so a lot of people who do the conversion don't mess with those (just adding some filler strips for the 1.5" gap that you will have). Others do a partial replacement with a partial aftermarket fender well part.

If you don't plan on lowering your car then you may be able to get away with not doing anything to the front liners, but if you do lower your car any, the tires will rub on the narrower OEM liner edges(lip).

Rear fender liners for sure, but the front ones can use liner extensions that are $100 +/- for the pair. SS-Vette has these.

Contact Forum Vendor GMParts, they sell a complete widebody kit but will also sell you just the parts you need given that you already have the major body panels.

Lots of clips, fasteners, ducts and trim pieces needed.

And for future reference, refer to this mod as a "widebody", as you can't really perform a true Z06 upgrade (aluminum chassis, dry sump motor, etc., etc.) and it just pi$$es off those owners.

Worthy project IMHO, good luck.

Call Gene at GMPartshouse or Kevin at PartsTaxi. Tell them you are doing a full widebody conversion and you have all the panels, you need everything else needed. Probably a couple hundred pieces with all the fasteners and ducts etc.
A lot of us have done it, myself included.
