So as the story goes I have a new 12' GS Vert Centennial with the flat black stripes. When I purchased the car the rear stripes had several scratches so I asked that the stripes be replaced. The dealership agreed no problem due bill received. I took the car in for the new stripes and five days later they don't look good as they have some bubbles under them. The dealership has agreed to re-do the stripes or give $ towards getting them painted on. Now the real question can flat black stripes be painted on to the carbon flash (black metallic) and be completely smooth. I had this done to my Shelby with both stripes and base coat being a shiny surface.
