Suggestions for seat cover (For new pup!)
So I think my wife and I are going to adopt a sweet as can be and impressively well behaved 4 month old American Staffordshire Terrier in the coming weeks and I'm on the hunt for a decent looking passenger seat cover that will offer some level of protection to the leather seats. This is because I work in a dog friendly office and will be able to take the dog to work when I feel like it. Rather than letting the dogs nails and so forth mark up the leather seats (not really sure they would, but just wanting to be safe) I'm thinking an easy to put on and take off slip type seat cover would be good.
Any suggestions? I don't really want to get super expensive ones, but I don't want to just drape a towel either. I imagine in the summer I'll cruise around with the top off, and take her to car shows and so forth so would like it to look relatively nice as well.
I'm leaning toward this: http://www.seatarmour.com/corvette-c6
I like that it's not a full blown leather type wrap that would take a bit more doing to get on and off. And I like that it's a towel type material that could be washed and whatnot.
Thanks...and here's the dog!

wetokole is one of the best seat covers made - neoprene material. But it is more of a permanent solution. The proper installation requires you to remove the seat.
Another option is a cheap removable one
I love my dog, but she would never see the inside of my car - that's just me.
If you want to do that, the only 2 things that come to mind is the accel/decel aspect of driving a Vette, and how the dog could/would adapt to that movement. I'd think about some sort of restraint. And then the other is what those nails would do to the neoprene or other material. Good Luck with it all!

I'd just have to make sure the dog was laying in the seat, not sitting upright in it. I'd also drive much differently if the dog was in the seat. I wouldn't drive too "sporty" and I would make sure to decrease speed much easier.

Please try not to take this the wrong way, but a responsible dog owner would not put the dog in the front seat and would put them in a kennel for their and your protection.
If the kennel and dog don't fit in the vette then it's not the car to tote the dog around in.
