Sounds like you have a ZOO animal and not a well mannered and clean pooch!

To answer your question, YES my dog rides with me in my Vette and my truck and sometimes I ride with him:

I've had a dog my entire life but not now. If I had one he would be welcome to ride in my Corvette.

My dog is more important to me than my car, so anytime she wants she rides with me .
When she is not with me and the windows are dogged up ,it brings smile to my face.
It is no big deal to clean my car, the few times she rides.

My dog thinks she hates car rides, used to love them 14 years ago... I'd love to take her along, but she's gotten too old and would prefer a nice leisurely walk. She'd be more than welcome in the 'Vette, that's what vacuum cleaners are for.

Nothing that a vaccuum and a wipe down can't fix... plus he loves it!

The plate is now on my Vert C6, which he likes even more...will have to update photo.

She also LOVES to ride in the boat:

I'm glad you mentioned the nails. I own a Maltese (another non shedder) but never thought about the nails. Poor TJ...his Vette days are over!!!

Newfoundland and a Rottie. Doubt either of them would fit comfortably in the Vette but if I had to I wouldn't hesitate to take them anywhere. They fit nicely in the Mustang before. The Newfie would always put her butt in the seat and her front paws on the floorboard. After she got tired of that she would walk across the center console and lay down in the back seat.

Don't have a dog anymore but years ago when I was 25 (okay, many years ago) we had an Afghan and I took her for a ride in my '60 MGA Coupe. I remember pulling next to a car with two cute girls at a stop light. They were pointing to the dog and smiling and waving at me. I was so proud.

A few minutes later when I got home I walked around to let the dog out and saw she had gotten sick all over the side of the car (thank goodness not in the car) and that's what they were smiling about.

And no, the dog is not in this picture.

When I was looking for my car I found a very low miles convertible that I definately would have bought until I opened the doors and saw that there was so much dog hair that it looked like it had furry seat covers . For some odd reason the inside of the trunk looked the same way . And as you pointed out dogs don't wear clothes so no different than letting them crap on your seats. Total disgusting. The guy lost a cash sale !

I read your post to my boy and he disapproves thereof. He takes our Vettes seriously. Here he is at 9 months old (five years ago):

It looks like he is the one in charge at your home.
