Like I said with the picture showing him in the driver's seat of my current C6, sometimes I ride with him. I earn all the $$$ and he gets all the compliments. He thinks it is normal to go on so many walks that his nails never need trimming. Never been hungry a moment in his life. Spoiled totally rotten

I take my Shar Pei for a ride and he gets stared at all the time.
Stopped at a red light and the guy next to me said that is one ugly dog. After 4 or 5 more stops he says she kind of grows on you.

The Chiuaua just trembles until we get back home

The Havanese love to stick their heads out the window

All it takes is a thick towel over the seat and a thin towel over the arm rest..

Notice they are all short hair....Ed

What you need is Poodle, they don't shed, and small enough to sit on your lap. My Poodle loves to cruise in the car, might say her second home.

We had a lab shepard cross before the goldens, and she would stand on the consul between the seats and put her chin on the top of the windshield when we drove through town at slow speeds.
It brought smiles to every one who saw her do this.
Also dog hair is NOT like crap, when you shed your hair are YOU crapping?
Have you ever tried to vacuum crap?

I had a pet many years ago and the only way it went in the car was in a carrier and secured by seat belt. Any other way is asking for trouble....period.

It scares me to see small dogs on peoples laps...all it takes in an air bag deployment and you will have a dead poodle in your lap. Dogs are much safer in an un-occupied passenger seat or even on the center cosole...at least in an accident they will have a fighting chance. Our Shi-Tzu (Moose) hasn't been in the Vette yet, but in the 2500 he rides on the center console and the 100lb lab rides in the back seat area (seats folded up), unforuantely Kenai (Lab) is too old to ride in the Vette, he would never be comfortable.

Great pics - great post. Do cats count? I have a Himalayan that travels with me in my Corvette on long trips to Florida. He loves it! He always stays in his airplane carrier on the other seat when the car is in motion. Here he is at a rest stop. Some day I'll have the schedule to own another dog.

Never in a million years. I don't even allow a bottled water in my Centennial Callaway but I do love dogs. Especially Goldens.
