I am sure the die hard track guys are rolling their eyes repeatedly at the move, but for someone like me who doesnt track its just such a great car. Congrats and good luck.

Tonya, pm me about the cf shroud......

Man, there's no way I could make that trade but that's just me. Only 550 miles on the ZR1? Just barely past the motor break-in. You weren't even used to driving that monster!

On the other hand, the vert looks great and so does your garage. Enjoy the new ride!

So other than top down driving, what did you NOT like about the ZR1? Do you plan on putting more miles on the 427 Vert?

427 with the convertible is a great way to go. Best of both worlds in my opinion. Congrat's!

Life is too short to not own the Vette that is just right for you. I hope you found the right one (and did not take a beating on the trade.)

Sounds like they beat you up a tad, but not crazy. The money back likely made the wife think you got a deal!!! and she probably has it earmarked already for something else....
The reality is you can only go soo fast on roads anyway, so giving up some performance for top down is likely a good tradeoff. I know it is for me. I cant wait until it stops snowing, warms up, and I can get mine out and put the top down.

I agree!!! those 3 bar ones really have to go!
I'll tell you what....as long as you don't put on one of those chrome license plate area thingy's, you can keep your new tail light bezels. Your new ones aren't that bad. I wouldn't put 'em on, but they're not as bad as the 3 bar ones for sure..
