Default The "Plain Jane" C6

I have to admit that I was never a big fan of the C6 Coupe. I always thought they were rather bland looking. With that said, here I am owning one, and loving it! For an all around DD this model suited my needs and budget the best of all the other C6 model Corvettes.
Sometimes, less is more!

Thanks, I installed the FW spoiler about 2 weeks after taking delivery in October. It is a '12

I like my plain jane C6 also but that's not to say I wouldn't trade it for a wide body if the right one came along.

Excellent...!! I feel its the best looking spoiler. When I ordered mine almost all of the spoilers were of the ZR1 variety. Then I saw the FW one day and just thought it looked so much better. Glad I did... Great car you have there Super GS.

Thanks again! I liked the full width spoiler the best also and wanted to stick with an accessory GM part that matches the paint perfectly.

Sweet C6 Coupe. Had a 2010 C6 coupe and put Firestone Wide Oval RFT's on. Better traction, MUCH quieter too and Tire Rack has them for a great price, when your stock tires are ready for a change. Miles of Smiles to you.

The GS's definetly look better and as a second car, would have been my choice as the two previously were. However, with the tire wear, brake dust, low front splitter, they are more costly and less user friendly as a DD.

I hear you. The points you made weighed heavily on my decision to get the base. I'm not sure I could get in my driveway with the low front splitter on the GS.

Exactly the reason I ordered my 2013 VY. Wanted a corvette set up for the highway, not the track. Even as the couple sits as stock is more car that most on here will ever use.

Your vette looks great I love my coupe, don't care if its not as powerful as the Z06. Personally I say I have a great looking vette.

Before I bought mine I looked at a couple Z06's as well, the M6 is what really held me back (I can drive a stick well, just not comfortably with my shoulders) and the GS's look fine but I just couldn't justify the money for what is essentially the same car as what I have, just made to look like a Z06.

I like your car, looks great!

I love the look of the wide bodied C6s. Had the Grand Sport been available when I ordered my 2005 coupe I definitely would have ordered one. Now, nearly eight years later, I still prefer the look of the wide bodies but I'm also still very happy with the looks of what I have. There's just something kinda special about a guy's very first Corvette.

Great looking car, Mike.

One of the things I find most interesting on the new C7's is the designers went back to the narrow body style with the same width tires as the C6. Looks like we're back in style again.

I have the base model and think it is stellar! I get plenty of people taking pictures of my car (even up to last year).
